Our Story

How It All Started

In 2010, we opened Phở Lang Thang at Findlay Market to share the flavors we grew up with — phở, bánh mì, bún, and cà phê sữa đá. Our dad had been roasting coffee in Vietnam since 1995, under the name Viet Coffee. We used his coffee at our restaurant, and even though we lived half a world apart, it kept us close — trading notes on new roast profiles, recipes, and brew methods across oceans.

Fast Forward to Today

What began as our dad’s small roastery has become the heart of everything we do. His craft continues in Vietnam, carried on by family and friends who share his spirit. Here in Cincinnati, we’re growing that legacy through Lang Thang Coffee — connecting people through bold Vietnamese flavors, shared rituals, and the stories that brew between us.
