Ca Phe Sua Da

(Vietnamese Iced Coffee)

This classic Vietnamese drink is bold and smooth with Saigon Phin Daklak

Ingredients

20g Saigon Phin Daklak coffee (or 3 Tbsp)
100g water (or 4oz water) at 200˚F
30g of condensed milk (adjust to taste)

Instructions

  1. Pour hot water through empty phin
  2. Discard water
  3. Add coffee to phin
  4. Gently shake to even out coffee
  5. Tamp coffee firmly, but don’t over tamp
  6. Pour just enough water to soak the beans into phin and wait 10 seconds
  7. Pour remaining amount of water into phin
  8. Cap and wait

  1. Add condensed milk to cup
  2. Stir and serve over a cup filled with ice
