Cold Brew Vietnamese Black Coffee

Cold Brew Vietnamese Black Coffee is bold, smooth, and refreshing with a clean finish that highlights the deep, robust flavors of Saigon Phin Daklak.

Ingredients

12oz bag of Saigon Phin Daklak
1/2 gallon of water

Equipment of your choice for cold brewing such as:
Large container or pitcher with lid
Fine mesh strainer or coffee filter

Instructions

  1. Add coffee.
    Pour the full 12 oz of pre-ground Saigon Phin Daklak into your container.
  2. Add water.
    Pour in ½ gallon of cold, filtered water. Stir to make sure all the grounds are fully saturated.
  3. Steep.
    Cover and refrigerate 22 hours to extract a bold, smooth Vietnamese coffee flavor.
  4. Strain.
    Filter through a fine mesh strainer lined with a coffee filter or cheesecloth. Strain twice if you prefer a cleaner brew.
  5. Serve.
    Pour over ice for a refreshing Vietnamese black coffee. Adjust strength with more or less water or ice to your liking.
